    It's been the most awaited and anticipated of Expos in India and it's turning out to be quite a hit. The Auto Expo 2016 holds a lot of promise and when the line-up was revealed, we had you glued to your devices as we brought you live updates of Day 1 and Day 2. SIAM at the very beginning had said that they were expecting more than 6 lakh visitors during the four days of the expo and well, the first day itself saw 79,000 footfalls.

    The Auto Expo-The Motor Show 2016, opened to public with an overwhelming response and the visitors were also treated to various engaging and entertaining activities at the activity area. There is everything - from superbikes to supercars and the organizers have organized several puppet shows and street plays to demonstrate road safety and how it helps the riders, drivers and pedestrians.

    There are also more than 100 food stalls, which takes care of all your needs. There were more than 90 launches and unveils and of course a whole lot of global unveils as well. In fact all these numbers add up to the fact that the Indian car market is going to grow two, probably three folds by 2020.

    We've seen companies like Renault taking things to another level by introducing a new powerful version of the Kwid and even the facelift of the Duster, while Maruti Suzuki took a serious stride in addressing customer needs by introducing the Brezza. All this points out to a significant change in the mindset of OEMs and this kind of response is certainly helping put India on the global map.
