Festive Season 2016: Discounts And Offers On Two Wheelers

The festive season is upon us and the entire country is gearing up to partake in the festivities. If we consider the automotive market, this is one of the most important time-periods for auto manufacturers as the sales definitely go on the rise during these few days and companies always come up with some really interesting offers which catch the fancy of the buyers. Discounts, offers, bonuses rain galore across the market and we list down some manufacturers whose offers might just do the trick for you.
1. Honda Two Wheelers
Honda wants to celebrate the festive season with vim and vigour. The company is offering a cash discount of Rs. 2000 to employees of central government and PSUs. It is also offering an exchange bonus of Rs. 1500 across all dealerships in Punjab, which of course, is limited to the festive season only. Also, the company is offering what it claims to be the lowest interest rates in the industry at the moment. So financing your Honda bike or scooter will not be a bad idea too. Lastly, Honda does not want its customers to wait for their purchased two-wheeler so for the last few months it has been planning its production and dealerships, especially in rural areas, have fully stocked up on all Honda models for immediate deliveries. Also, some of the dealerships in Delhi-NCR are offering free insurance on Honda models of up to 125cc (Scooters and bikes included).

2. Hero MotoCorp
(Hero Achiever 150)India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp isn't offering any official discounts or schemes on its motorcycle or scooter range. However, Hero dealerships across the country have special EMI schemes, discounts and free insurance on offer across several products. For those in the Delhi-NCR region, dealers are offering free insurance on the Maestro Edge, Duet and Pleasure scooters; whereas Mumbai dealerships are offering a special interest rate of 6.60 per cent via Hero FinCorp across the model range. You also get accessories including seat cover, side stand, bike cover, and helmet for free in Mumbai as part of the festive schemes.

3. TVS
(TVS Star City Plus)Hosur-based bike maker TVS Motor Company has been eyeing the festive season as well for growth and has a host of offers in place, especially for rural markets. The manufacturer has introduced more flexible retail financing schemes with a special 3.99 per cent interest scheme available across all two-wheelers. A cheque-less EMI scheme is available at the rural dealerships, wherein rural customers can pay EMIs in cash. Furthermore, TVS has commenced offering 24/7 Roadside Assistance Program for free on all models. TVS has also introduced new colour options on the Star City+ and Sport for the festive season.

4. Suzuki
(Suzuki Gixxer Special Edition)Having launched the updated Access 125, Gixxer rear disc and fuel-injected Gixxer SF this year, Suzuki Motorcycle India has a host of schemes in store for the festive season to boost numbers. All two wheelers, save for the new Access 125, come with special schemes for government employees and LDP; while the Gixxer series gets free three years extended warranty and tank pad. Furthermore, Suzuki is offered a free helmet on the Let's scooter. The schemes however, are available only for this month up till October 31, save for the special scheme for government employees that ends in November.

5. Yamaha
(Yamaha Saluto 125 Matt Green)For the festive season, Yamaha Motor India will be organising multiple customer connect programs at various cities across the country including free two-wheeler servicing camp, test rides of Yamaha products, Yamaha Children Safety Program, Yamaha female safety program along with other exciting entertainment activities. In addition, the recently launched Saluto 125 has received a new colour variant for the festive season. The company will be announcing more incentives and offers for Diwali soon.
6. Ducati
(Ducati XDiavel S)Ducati has tied up with Yes Bank, for providing customised loan options best suited for customers. There will be multiple financial options available for Ducati customers across all Ducati dealerships. Also, it will start off with its road-show where one can get discounts on official merchandise and take a test-ride of Ducati models as well.
7. Royal Enfield
(Royal Enfield Continental GT)Royal Enfield offers no discounts for the festive season and so is the case at dealerships as well. That said, the company is offering customers the choice to avail a three year insurance scheme at the dealership level.
8. Harley-Davidson
(Harley Davidson 1200 Custom)While the American bike maker isn't offering company discounts, dealerships across the country are offering free accessories including engine guard, helmet and muffler on the Street 750.
