Festive Season 2016: Discounts And Offers On Cars

It's that time of the year many Indian families look forward to. The festival of lights rings in the festival of discounts too! Most of the car manufacturers in India bring in new cars or offer special editions or a ton of discounts at this time. We've put together the offers in the market to make it easier for you to pick and choose - if you too are car shopping this Diwali!

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

One of the biggest car manufacturer in the country is offering discounts and exchange bonuses on many of its models and these include the Swift, DZire, Ciaz, Ertiga and the S-Cross. Offers include everything from cash discount up to Rs. 45,000 on select models in Mumbai to exchange bonuses of up to Rs. 50,000. Sadly there are no offers currently on either the Baleno or the Vitara Brezza.

Nissan

Nissan Terrano

If you thought Nissan has been quiet all year, well, it's certainly making a lot of noise with the discounts on offer this festive season. The company is all set to bring in two new cars in the Indian market, one being the GT-R and the other the X-Trail Hybrid, but the focus of the discount offers will be on the Micra, Sunny and Terrano. While the company is offering free no-depreciation insurance for the first year, there are some enticing exchange bonuses on offer too. While exchange bonuses might differ from city to city, Nissan is giving out cricket merchandise to those buying its cars across the country.

Datsun India

Datsun GO+

The Datsun brand already has 3 cars in its product line-up for India and there are more coming but the festive season sees the company offering a lower interest rate on its car. While there are a few dealerships in Delhi and Mumbai offering exchange bonuses, most of the offers on its cars include an assured gift, 1st year Insurance and lower interest rates on finance.

Hyundai

2016 Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai continues to have a wonderful year with its compact SUVs raking in the moolah but the hatchback segment too as grown and this festive season will see a whole bunch of offers on cars right from the Eon, Grand i10, i10 and even the Santa Fe. While there are cash discounts being handed out, Hyundai is also providing insurance for the first year for free and even extended warranty schemes apart from exchange bonuses upto Rs. 25000. Sadly there are no discounts on offer on the Creta or the newly launched Elantra.

Renault

Renault Kwid 1.0

Renault has been upping the ante in both the compact SUV segment and the small car segment. With the new Duster and the new engine in the Kwid, Renault is turning the tables on some of the oldest car manufacturers in India. the company's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' offer too gives a good amount of discount this festive season by providing benefits of more than Rs. 80,000 on all Renault cars.

BMW (Pan INDIA)

During the festive season offer, customers can get their vehicle financed by BMW Financial Services India at a low rate of interest at 7.9 per cent. The offer is valid irrespective of the loan amount, tenure or payment plan. With up to 40 per cent lower EMIs, this proposition becomes all the more appealing. Complimentary BMW Service Inclusive Plus and BMW Repair Inclusive that are valid for up to 3 years / 40,000 kilometers will ensure a completely hassle-free ownership experience. In addition, complimentary zero depreciation insurance for the first year and an assured buy-back for the car. Depending on the contract period (between 2-4 years), they can get a guaranteed value of upto 65 per cent as part of the buy-back offer. The Festive Offer is valid on the BMW 3 Series, the BMW 5 Series and the BMW X3 till 31 October 2016.

Honda

Honda has made its intentions clear that it wants to consolidate its position in the Indian car market which is why we see them entering new segments with cars like the BR-V and updating the older models with facelifts of the Amaze and Brio. While updating products is one way of attracting customers, Honda has come up with offers to make things even more interesting. Honda is providing exchange benefits in various metros in India to the extent of Rs. 10000, there are heavy discounts on the Mobilio up to Rs. 2 lakh. There are some good offers on the BR-V as well, which make things even more interesting. Audi has introduced a whole bunch of cars in India this year but the biggest change has been the introduction of the all-new A4. The company has some good deals on offer on all its cars including the new-gen A4. In fact, the company recently launched a special edition of the Q3 to make things even more interesting.

Ford is offering auto finance at 8.4 per cent Interest Rate with 100 per cent On-Road Finance offer.

Volkswagen

It's been a big year for the German car maker and the Ameo has made its mark in India. VW offers it all with the sub-compact car and well, with the diesel even more so, all this at a competitive price. As always Volkswagen is running the Volksfest from October 1, 2016 to October 31 and are providing dome good offers on its cars.
