The Creta will sport Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language and will also offer best-in-class body rigidity, structural strength, and crash performance. The compact SUV also gets 'outstanding' NVH levels, thanks to the use of high grade insulation material, improved engineering, and design of the engine, transmission and body structure.
Hyundai will offer the Creta SUV with 3 engine options, namely, a 1.6-litre petrol, a 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel. While the petrol unit will develop 122bhp, the 1.6-diesel will put out 128bhp.

Furthermore, the company will also offer a choice of 6-speed automatic transmission albeit only on the 1.6-litre diesel variant. The Creta will be the first in its segment to be available with an auto-box for the diesel mill.
Hyundai claims it has improved crash performance, both frontal and side, with the addition of a dash cross member. The roof structure too has been reinforced with multiple cross members for additional strength and more loading capacity.
