- Jeep plans to bring several new products in India
- No plans to introduce a sub 4-metre SUV into the Indian market
- Will launch the all-new Jeep Meridian 3-row SUV in India soon
Jeep India has big plans as far as its products are concerned in the country. The company plans to bring several new products to India and we already know that the Meridian and the Grand Cherokee are coming to the country this year itself. However, whatever plans it had for bringing in a sub 4-metre SUV into the Indian market, well, those are not happening. Speaking at a media round table, Christian Meunier, Jeep Brand Chief Executive Officer, answered a question posed by carandbike about this very segment.

He said, "Right now, we are not looking at making an entry into the sub 4 metre SUV. The car has to carry the Jeep DNA and we do not want to bring a Quasi-hatch styled car which does not live upto the expectations of Jeep customers. So the Renegade or any sub 4 metre SUV right now is off the table."
