- Jeep plans to bring several new products in India
- No plans to introduce a sub 4-metre SUV into the Indian market
- Will launch the all-new Jeep Meridian 3-row SUV in India soon

However, whatever plans it had for bringing in a sub 4-metre SUV into the Indian market, well, those are not happening. Speaking at a media round table, Christian Meunier, Jeep Brand Chief Executive Officer, answered a question posed by carandbike about this very segment.

He said, "Right now, we are not looking at making an entry into the sub 4 metre SUV. The car has to carry the Jeep DNA and we do not want to bring a Quasi-hatch styled car which does not live upto the expectations of Jeep customers. So the Renegade or any sub 4 metre SUV right now is off the table."
