Maruti Suzuki Slashes Prices On Select Models By Upto Rs. 5000
India's biggest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has announced a price cut on select models, bringing cheer ahead of the festival season to those planning to buy cars. Maruti has decided to reduce the price of 10 popular models by Rs. 5,000 (on ex-showroom price).
These popular models include all variants of the Alto 800, Alto K10, Swift Diesel, Celerio, Baleno Diesel, Ignis, Dzire Diesel, Tour S Diesel, Vitara Brezza and S-Cross. The new prices will apply from today across dealerships in the country. The price reduction comes days after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that corporate tax would be slashed. The company is passing on the benefit to customers, said that the discount will be over and above the current promotional offers for the company's vehicle range. There is no reduction on the petrol variants of the Dzire and Baleno.
