Maruti Suzuki Clocks Highest Ever Exports In 2021

- Maruti Suzukin also crossed the 2 million exports benchmark last year.
- It has also added the Jimny and new-gen Celerio to its exports range.
- The Baleno, Dzire, Swift, SPresso and Brezza were top 5 exports models.
Maruti Suzuki has announced that its annual exports were at all-time high in 2021. The carmaker exported 205,450 units in calendar year 2021 which is the highest ever exports the company recorded in any calendar year. As of now, the company has exported over 21.85 lakh units in over 100 export markets. Maruti Suzuki says thar its vehicles are popular with global customers across Latin America, ASEAN, Africa, Middle East and other neighbouring regions. Maruti Suzuki started exports of its vehicles in 1986-87 with the first large consignment to Hungary.

Maruti Suzuki also started exporting Jimny from India.

Maruti Suzuki is also exporting the recentlty launched Celerio from India.
At present, Maruti Suzuki exports around 15 models from India including the recently launched all-New Celerio and the Jimny which happens to be the company's latest addition in its exports portfolio. The top five exports models in 2021 include Baleno, Dzire, Swift, Spresso and Brezza.
