- India is the 2nd market to get the Mercedes digital Service drive
- In the Mercedes Premier Express vehicles can be serviced in just 2 hours

Mercedes-Benz My Mercedes-My Service
Mercedes stated that the idea of the My Mercedes my service campaign is to introduce easy of costs and transparency in the ownership experience for customers. The Digital Service Drive helps introduce paperless interaction with customers as the owners can schedule a service booking on the locally developed iOS app, while interaction with service advisors takes place using Apple iPads. Customers get transparent communication with real time vehicle service updates including automated pre-Service, in-Service and post service SMS updates. This in turn allows for faster service turnaround time at the convenience of the customer at home.

The Premier Express service on the other hand reduces the turnaround time for a scheduled period. The service employs 3 technicians working on the same car that brings down the service time to just 2 hours, as opposed to the usual one day period. This includes the clock starting from welcoming the customer to issuing the gate pass at the end of the maintenance job. The service team comprises a team leader and 2 maimtenance technicians. The service though does cost a premium over regular service but also offers a wholesome process in the least time possible, says the company.

Furthermore, the new Star Ease Maintenance packages programme offers customers up to 45 flexible options to choose from within the 2 Packages - Compact and Compact Plus.Customers can pre-select the either package for 2-10 years and is applicable for cars that are operational up to 4 years. In effect, owners with cars purchased in 2012 can avail the package. The objective is to offer the lowest cost of ownership with the predefined package. The compact package covers up to 5 years or 50,000 km on a car or 10 years and 1 lakh km, if the vehicle is new.
Mercedes has also initiated a first in Indian luxury car segment online price calculator for owners to get a maintenance package quote.
