- The MG Hector will get the largest sunroof in its segment
- MG Hector will get 1.5-litre petrol and 2.0 litre diesel engine
MG Motor India has released a new teaser video for its upcoming SUV, the MG Hector, and this time around we get to see a lot more of the SUV in the teaser. The new video gives us a sneak-peek of the Hector from a bunch of different angles, which includes a top shot that almost reveals the entire SUV. Slated to be launched sometime in the second quarter of 2019, the new MG Hector will be the first model to be launched by China's SAIC Motor-owned automaker, also marking the company's entry into the Indian market.

MG Hector gets LED projector headlamps, LED taillamps, and panoramic sunroof
The video disclaimer clearly mentions that the images and features are shown are for representational purpose only, which means we cannot be certain that everything we see here will make it to the production SUV. However, based on the spy images we have seen so far, this pretty much appears to be like what the production version of the MG Hector will look like. For starters, the image reveals the panoramic sunroof, bold muscular lines, a shark-fin antenna, rear spoiler and LED taillamps.

The video also uncovers the new headlamp design which comes with integrated LED daytime running lamps with separate units for indicators. Incidentally, this is entirely different from the split headlamps we saw on one of the test mules recently. We also get to see the new honeycomb pattern grille with the iconic MG logo, inside an Octagon, at the centre.
