Updated Nissan Micra CVT Launched At Rs. 5.99 Lakh

- The new Orange colour is available on the Micra and Micra Activa models
- The Micra petrol only gets an automatic transmission, no manual on offer
- The Micra will be available across all of Nissan's 232 dealerships
The Nissan Micra CVT wasn't quite the hot-seller when it made its debut. But the Japanese manufacturer recently launched an updated version of the Micra CVT with a brand new 'Sunshine Orange' colour. The interiors are done up contrastingly in a shade of black, which draws its inspiration from European models. One can opt for this new shade on both the Micra and the Micra Active models. The prices for the Micra (including Micra Active models) start at Rs. 4.55 lakh and the price for the Nissan Micra CVT is Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
(Nissan Micra CVT)Arun Malhotra, managing director, Nissan Motor India said, "The affordable and accessible Micra offers a charming visual appeal with its new "Sunshine Orange" exterior colour complemented by the edgy, European-style all-black interior. These new options come without any price increase. We're confident this package will resonate with Indian customers."
The mechanicals remain the same though. Under the hood is the 1.2-litre petrol engine that is good for 76bhp. The Micra CVT returns an efficiency of 19.34 kilometres to a litre. Nissan says that all of its 232 dealerships will get the new Micra CVT at the earliest. The Nissan Micra has sold over 6 million units globally ever since it made its global debut.
