Peugeot Teases the 208 GTi
Peugeot announced its plans to unveil a special edition model for its 208 GTi hot hatch during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Goodwood Festival of Speed is scheduled for June 27-29, and Peugeot thought it best to release a first teaser image to generate some curiosity.
The 30th Anniversary version will be showcased in the Supercar & First Glimpse class of the event. The teaser image shows the sports vehicle featuring the British flag under its front grille. Yes, even we are scratching our heads trying to understand that detail considering the carmaker is French.
There is hardly anything we know about the car but Peugeot says that the debut of the car is similar to the RCZ R's unveiling at the same place last year. So expect the 1.6-litre turbo mill to get a little more power. We will keep you updated on this once we get more information. Stay tuned!
