Pros
- Exclusivity! We mean look at the price! The people who are going to buy a scooter by paying over Rs. 10 lakh belong to a niche segment. We believe that the scooter will be a rare sighting on Indian roads, so if you do get one, all eyes are going to be turned on you.
- The design of the scooter is something unlike we have seen in India so far. It is a sharp, aggressive looking scooter and offers oodles of street presence that can be compared to any of the middleweight motorcycles. The aerodynamic front-end, coupled with the step seats and twin-LED headlights make for an attractive-looking scooter. There are a bunch of features on offer as well, such as 6.5-inch TFT screen, connectivity options and a variety of accessories as well.

The BMW C 400 GT comes with a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and gets other options like heated grips, keyless ignition and more
- The BMW C 400 GT gets a 350 cc, single-cylinder, water-cooled four-stroke engine which produces 33.5 bhp at 7,500 rpm, and peak torque of 35 Nm at 5,750 rpm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is claimed at 9.5 seconds, while maximum speed is rated at 139 kmph. The BMW C 400 GT uses a directly integrated CVT gearbox as well as secondary drive in the form of a drivetrain swingarm. A counterbalance shaft ensures refined performance. This is a scooter that truly offers highway capability.
Cons

(The BMW C 400 GT is a sharp-looking scooter and is likely to be a rare sight on Indian roads)
- Pricing! With a price tag of over Rs. 10 lakh, when you consider on-road prices, the BMW C 400 GT is going to be heavy on the pocket and that may deter some of the buyers who are on the edge. But considering the fact that it is a CBU, we expected similar prices.
- Performance! While the BMW C 400 GT does offer a top speed of 139 kmph and gets a 350 cc engine, making 33.5 bhp and 35 Nm of peak torque, people may demand more in terms of specifications. Although, the power and torque on offer is sufficient for city and highway, other motorcycles in the same price bracket offer a lot more and that may be a deterrent for some prospective buyers.
