Hyundai India launched the i20 N Line in the country and it's the sportier version of the premium hatchback. Having said that, we must tell you this is not a full-blown N Line model like the ones sold in the global markets, however, it is the sportiest i20 yet and yes it looks the part too. So, if you are planning to buy an i20 N Line then here are its pros and cons
PROS
- The i20 N Line comes with a new black cascading grille with the N Line badge, along with a new, more aggressive-looking bumper with red inserts, and more black highlights. The car also comes with underbody cladding with more red highlights, black ORVMs and an N Line badge on the front fender.

The i20 N Line's biggest rival is the Volkswagen Polo, with the 1.0-litre TSI engine
- The i20 N Line gets a sportier cabin and gets an all-black treatment with black upholstery on the seats with red contrast dual stitching and piping.
- Other sporty elements inside the cabin include a new leather-wrapped steering wheel, N inspired gear knob and aluminium foot pedals among others.
- The car also comes with recalibrated steering geometry for better feedback and a 30 per cent stiffer suspension setup.
CONS
- The Hyundai i20 N Line is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder GDi turbo petrol engine which makes 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque and there's no change in the power output as compared to the regular premium hatchback
- The i20 N Line with the DCT does 0-100 kmph in 9.9 seconds and that's the same as the premium hatchback and we would have loved for it to be more powerful and quick
