Spider-Man: No Way Home Movie Will Showcase Two Hyundai Models

- Spider-Man: No Way Home movie will be releasing on 17th December, 2021
- The movie will now feature two products from Hyundai - Ioniq 5 & Tucson
- Partnership deal between Sony Pictures & Hyundai Motor
There is great news for Hyundai fans as two of the brand's cars will be showcased in the eagerly awaited blockbuster Spider-Man: No Way Home movie. As part of a worldwide multi-promotional deal inked in 2020 between Sony Pictures and Hyundai Motor, the Hyundai Tucson and Ioniq 5 will be shown in the movie. The film will release globally on 17th December, 2021.

The Executive Vice-President, Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Customer Experience Division at Hyundai Motor Company, Thomas Schemera, has stated that the cars being featured in this movie is the start of a fulfilling and highly strategic collaboration between both companies. He also added that the brand is anticipating substantial marketing effects arising out of this partnership. The inclusion of these two cars in a thrilling movie will naturally simulate the minds of millions of viewers around the world according to him.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the third movie in the recent franchise built by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, with Tom Holland playing the role of Peter Parker and Jacob Batalon playing Ned Leeds, the best friend. Hyundai and Sony have also made a television commercial Only Way Home which has Spider-Man intent on clearing his reputation and eventually coming out of hiding, taking a ride of 300 miles to New York with Ned in the fully-electric Ioniq 5.

Hyundai Motor has also come out with a spot of 30 seconds, showcasing the latest version of its Tucson. After this movie, the brand will be arranging multiple marketing campaigns for the upcoming Uncharted movie, that will premiere by February next year, along with the sequel to the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Academy award winner) that will premiere by October next year.
