Tesla Launches Cyberquad For Kids, Shipping To Begin This Year

- The Cyberquad for kids is for $1,900
- It will start shipping this year itself
- It is smaller than the Cyberquad and cant be charged with a Cybertruck
Out of nowhere, Tesla has launched the Cyberquad for kids on its online shop which will start shipping later this month. The Cyberquad for kids costs $1,900 and has a top speed of 16 km per hour. For those who remember the unveiling of the Tesla Cybertruck in 2019, it was unveiled as one more thing and it fit in the holding area of the Cybertruck quite snugly. It can even charge off the Cybertruck's battery back when it was showcased but this new production model can't do the same. Perhaps, this will change when Tesla launches the Cybertruck next year.
The Cyberquad for kids is actually different from the Cyberquad that was showcased when the Cybertruck debuted in front of the world. This one has been shrunk down further for use by children. It has a very handy maximum range of 24 kilometers.

This is a miniaturised version of the Cyberquad that was showcased alongside the Cybertruck
"Get ready for any adventure with the all-electric Cyberquad for Kids. Inspired by our iconic Cybertruck design, the four-wheel ATV features a full steel frame, cushioned seat, and adjustable suspension with rear disk braking and LED light bars. Powered by a lithium-ion battery with up to 15 miles of range and a configurable top speed of 10 mph, Cyberquad for Kids is suitable for anyone 8-years old and up. For additional product details, visit Shop FAQ," said the Tesla website.
Its dimensions are quite petite at 47x26x47 inches with a weight of 55.3 kg and is recommended for kids of 8 years and above. It also doesn't ship fully assembled. Tesla's assembly instructions indicate that it comes in 18 parts and there is a kit with an Allen wrench. It is being billed like almost a lego-like project for kids. Tesla's design chief Franz Von Holzhausen even shared a video of him riding it with his kids.
This is certainly cheaper than the Cyberquad which will likely arrive when the Cybertruck starts shipping.
