- Deliveries are scheduled to begin this month
- The packages offer benefits on a wide array of post sales services
Volkswagen Ameo, the German carmaker's made-in-India sub-compact sedan, was launched here last month. Though Volkswagen is yet to commence sales and deliveries of the carline, it says the Ameo has received positive response from customers across the country. Now the automaker has announced special care packages for the Ameo, wherein customers can avail benefits on a combined array of post sales services.
Based on the same platform as the Polo and Vento, the new Volkswagen Ameo is the smallest sedan in the company's lineup and has been developed specifically for the Indian market, rivaling the Maruti Suzuki DZire, Ford Figo Aspire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Zest and the likes. Power on the Ameo will come from the 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol and 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engines.
