Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid Scooter Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs. 70,000

- The Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid is offered in both drum & disc brake trims
- It is equipped with a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) offering smoother start
- It gets a 125 cc BS6 compliant blue core fuel injected engine
Yamaha Motor has launched the new Fascino 125 Fuel Injection Hybrid scooter in India with prices starting at Rs. 70,000 for the drum brake variant, while the disc brake model has been priced at Rs. 76,530 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid is equipped with a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) System that basically adds an electric motor giving a power assist when you accelerate from a stop, and eliminating the initial power lag due to the wobble during start-outs. In-turn, it offers a smoother start and ride on an incline as well.

The new Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid gets the same 125 cc FI blue core engine.
The Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid continues sourcing power by the same 125 cc BS-VI compliant air-cooled and fuel-injected (FI), blue core engine that puts out 8.2 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. Other features also include Side Stand Engine Cut off Switch which is a standard and a mandatory fitment according to latest regulations. The Disc Brake variant is offered in Vivid Red Special, Matt Black Special, Cool Blue Metallic, Dark Matt Blue, Suave Copper, Yellow Cocktail, Cyan Blue, Vivid Red and Metallic Black. While the the Drum Brake version is available in Vivid Red, Cool Blue Metallic, Yellow Cocktail, Dark Matt Blue, Suave Copper, Cyan Blue, and Metallic Black.

The Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid also gets styling updates
In terms of styling it gets a through makeover as well. The Disc Brake model supports Bluetooth enabled Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X app and is equipped with LED headlights, daytime running lights (DRLs), LED taillight and digital instrumentation. The scooter also features an automatic start stop system which cuts off the engine, while waiting at stop light, and will automatically restart the engine as soon as you twist the throttle.
