New Toyota Camry Hybrid to Launch on April 30, 2015
We had told you about the impending arrival of the facelifted Toyota Camry Hybrid in India last year. Now the Japanese carmaker has confirmed it will launch the car here on April 30, 2015. The updated Camry, unveiled at the 2014 Moscow International Motor Show, will not only get new features and cosmetic updates, but will also see the addition of a new engine to its range.

The India-bound model of the car is also expected to feature the same engine options seen on the car in Moscow, i.e. a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol, a 3.5-litre V6 petrol and a new 2.0-litre petrol motor.

As far as the refreshed model's features are concerned, it gets a new large lower grille that is reminiscent of that of the Corolla, a thinner upper grille, new LED-infused head-lights, large air intakes, and chrome-surrounded rectangular shaped fog-lamps. Then there is also the updated bumper and a slim chrome strip running across the width of the car. Though the side profile of the car remains largely similar, the newly designed alloy wheels add to its sporty appeal.

The cabin also receives a handful of updates including a new multi-function steering wheel, a 4.2-inch colour TFT display, a new backlit instrument cluster, wireless mobile charger, automatic beams, a new infotainment system and heated rear seats among others.

Though the car is expected to remain largely similar to the one showcased in Moscow and the one recently launched in Thailand, the features and engine options may differ a little.
