2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launch Details Revealed

- Next-gen Classic 350 to be built on the RE Meteor 350 platform
- New SOHC 349 cc counterbalanced engine will be more refined
- Dual cradle chassis, customisation options expected on new Classic 350
Royal Enfield is expected to launched the new generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 on August 27, 2021. The new RE Classic 350 will be based on the J-platform of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, so it will have the same 349 cc, SOHC engine which makes 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The Classic 350 will be built around the same double cradle chassis as the Meteor 350. Royal Enfield's highest-selling model, which accounts for nearly 80 per cent of the brand's sales, the Classic 350 will still get the familiar silhouette but the design will be updated to give the new generation model fresh appeal.

The dual-tone version gets similar features, except for the wheels, which are treated in matte black, plus, this one also gets two-piece seats, also black
From what we've seen in spy shots of test mules of the next generation Classic 350, it's expected to get a semi-digital instrument console, with a large analogue dial for the speedometer, and a small digital screen with other read-outs, including fuel gauge, odometer, etc. Spy shots showed the new generation Classic 350 sporting Royal Enfield's Tripper navigation pod, so the new bike will likely come with Bluetooth connectivity. But lower-spec variants of the new Classic 350 may not get the Tripper navigation feature.

The recently spotted model does not come with Royal Enfield's Tripper navigation unit, so a base variant is likely to be offered without Bluetooth connectivity and the Tripper navigation feature.
Some variants of the next generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 are also expected to come with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres, just like the Meteor 350. Also expected are a lot of customisation option through the Make it Yours online custom initiative of Royal Enfield, where customers can choose the colours, seat options and accessorise the new Classic 350 according to their own personal taste and choice. We will, of course, be riding the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 soon, and will bring a first-hand report on its performance, as and when we get hold of a test bike. More details on prices will be announced on August 27, 2021, and we expected prices in the region of Rs. 1.90 lakh to Rs. 2 lakh (Ex-showroom).
