Ather Energy, BLive Join Hands To Drive EV Adoption Across India

Electric vehicle manufacturer Ather Energy has entered a strategic alliance with BLive, India's first EV experiential platform to drive EV adoption across tourist destinations in India. The two brands will join hands to set up charging grids at tourist destinations such as Goa, Coorg, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu, among others. Under the partnership, the two brands will drive EV adoption by offering the Ather experience to customers and help build charging infrastructure across popular tourist destinations.

Ather Energy offers the fast-charging network Ather Grid across cities it operates in.
BLive will set up 5 charging stations for Ather Energy across Goa by the end of August, named 'BLive EV Zones'. It further plans to strengthen its presence by setting up 15 charging stations across the state by the end of the year, at prominent places. BLive will also offer a first hand Ather Energy electric scooter experience and help customers with pre-booking and booking of electric scooters through its BLive EV Store, the multi-brand online EV Store.

BLive will help set up Ather Energy's fast-charging network, Ather Grid across tourist destinations, starting with Goa.
On the announcement of strategic partnership Ravneet S. Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy said, "The electric vehicle market in India is amidst massive transformation and we have seen an exponential increase in demand for our electric scooters. We aim to leverage BLive's strong presence, in Goa and other popular tourist destinations across India, in deploying Ather Grid and bringing the Ather experience to EV enthusiasts. Further, we hope to work very closely with BLive's range of partners, from Goa Tourism to the hospitality industry, in boosting consumer confidence in shifting to e-vehicles."

The Ather 450X has created a benchmark in the electric scooter segment in India.
The partnership between BLive and Ather Energy is being supported by the Goa Tourism and Development Corporation (GTDC). BLive is the official EV Tourism partner of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC). Continuing their support towards sustainable tourism and EV adoption in Goa, 'BLive EV zones' will be set up across its associated hotels.
Samarth Kholkar and Sandeep Mukherjee, Co-founders BLive, said "We are happy to take another giant leap forward in driving the EV experience and adoption with Ather Energy across India, starting with Goa. We have already seen multiple pre bookings for Ather, in a few days of launch. This will only go higher and so will adoption to electric mobility."
BLive is India's first Electric Vehicle Experience platform. It follows an experiential approach of driving adoption of electric mobility through BLive EV Tours and BLive EV Store. BLive EV Tours offers curated, authentic, and immersive local tours that can be experienced on smart, savvy, electric bikes. Customers can experience the joy of effortless riding as they ride a new adventure off beaten trails.
