Bajaj Platina ComforTec With LED DRL Launched; Priced At Rs. 46,656

Bajaj Auto has launched the new Platina ComforTec with LED Daylight Running Lights (DRL) at a price of Rs. 46,656 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Bajaj Platina ComforTec is the first Indian bike in the 100cc-150cc segment to come with LED DRL. According to Bajaj Auto, the Platina ComforTec with DRL consumes less power and also delivers better fuel consumption figures, compared to other bikes with the automatic headlamp on (AHO) feature. The new Platina ComforTec is available in two colours - ebony black with silver decals and cocktail wine with red decals.

According to Bajaj, ComforTec is a first of its kind technology which reduces 20 per cent jerks compared to other 100 cc motorcycles. The Platina features 28 per cent longer travel front suspension and 22 per cent longer rear suspension than any other commuter motorcycle, resulting in better absorption of bumps, and delivering maximum comfort to the rider and enabling a smooth ride. It also sports a 'spring-soft' seat, rubber footpads and directional tyres that enhance ride comfort and stability.

In addition to the revolutionary LED DRLs, the new Platina ComforTec is powered by the exceptionally reliable and frugal 100cc Bajaj DTSi engine. It also comes with new elegant graphics and a stylish new instrument cluster. The Bajaj Platina is powered by a 102 cc, single-cylinder engine which makes 7.8 bhp and 8.3 Nm. The bike gets a four-speed gearbox and has a kerb weight of 111 kg.
