Benelli TRK 502 Range Prices Hiked By Rs. 10,000

Italian bike maker Benelli is back in India after a brief hiatus and the manufacturer kick-started its second innings with the TRK 502 and the TRK 502X adventure motorcycles. The models were launched at introductory prices and were scheduled to witness an increase over time. Benelli India has now hiked prices on the TRK range by Rs. 10,000, with prices now starting at Rs. 5.10 lakh for the TRK 502 and Rs. 5.50 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom India) for the TRK 502X. The updated prices were revealed at the inauguration of the bike maker's new dealership in Noida, UP. The new prices came into effect since April 21, 2019.

Deliveries for the Benelli TRK 502 will begin later this year
The Benelli TRK 502 range is off to a good start and garnered over 150 bookings within 15 days of launch. The adventure motorcycle is the only 500 cc offering of its kind and manages and has been designed for long distance touring coupled and off-road action, depending on the variant you choose. Both versions draw power from the 500 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor tuned for 47 bhp and 46 Nm of peak torque, while paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Benelli TRK 502 is suspended by 50 mm USD forks up front a monoshock at the rear, while 320 mm dual front discs and a 260 mm disc at the rear end with dual-channel ABS take care of braking duties. The bike gets 20 litre fuel tank, which makes it quite capable long distance touring.

Benelli's new outlet has been opened under the dealership of Felix Autowerks LLP and will retail the brand's entire range. The company has also announced that the new outlet will showcase merchandise and accessories, while motorcycle customisation will also be introduced in India in a phased manner. The manufacturer is currently assembling bikes at its new facility near Hyderabad, and aims to have 40 outlets by the end of this year. The company has five motorcycles in the pipeline, starting with the Leoncino scrambler-styled offering set to arrive later this year.
