Chennai Floods: Honda Cars India Organises Special Service Camp

Joining the list of auto manufacturer who have offered a helping hand to the flood affected regions of Chennai and its surrounding areas, Honda Cars India has organised a campaign to support repair activities in the city. The carmaker has organized special service camps in Chennai, which will waive off the labor charges on customer's expenses for the repair of affected cars.

In addition to these service camps, Honda will also be providing a 10% discount on the spare parts and 50% discount on value added services like anti-rust, paint protection etc., to its customers. As for those who intend to buy a new Honda two-wheeler or four-wheeler, are also up for some special benefits. Customer who will receive loyalty points of up to Rs. 20,000 on buying a new Honda car, and an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 30,000 for those who wish to exchange their affected car with a new Honda model.

"We understand the gravity of the situation in Chennai where a large number of our customers' cars have been completely or partially submerged in water. We are making all the efforts to support our customers to have their cars repaired as swiftly as possible," said Mr. Katsushi Inoue, President and CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd. speaking on the initiatives undertaken by the company.

This is not it, in order to offer its customer a hassle-free service experience Honda Cars India has stocked its Chennai warehouse necessary spare parts. This is to cope with the requirement of spare parts for repair activities of this magnitude. Any other parts required to get the affected cars road-worthy are being sent by air from other Honda warehouses at no additional cost.

Furthermore, the carmaker has reinforced its workshops with technical manpower and has instructed its dealerships to take additional space to receive the flood affected cars. Even the Road-side assistance partners to move the affected cars to Honda workshops on priority. In addition to that Honda Cars India has also got in touch with all insurance partners to expedite the claim process.
