Daniel Craig Seen Driving The Aston Martin Series II V8 Vantage For Next Bond Film

- The Aston Martin V8 Vantage will be in the new James Bond movie
- The new Bond film will also star the Aston Martin DB5 & Valhalla hypercar
- The 25th James Bond movie is Slated to be released on April 8, 2020
The current 007, Daniel Craig was recently seen driving a classic Aston Martin Series II V8 Vantage for the upcoming James Bond. The photo and the video posted by the movie franchise's official social media handle show the British Actor driving in the classic Aston Martin, before getting out and stylishly walk ahead for a shot. It appears to have been shot somewhere in London. While the video only gives us a view of the rear section of the car, the promotional photo of Daniel Craig as 007 reveals the front of the car, albeit partially.

The Series II V8 Vantage is one of the three Aston Martin models that have been confirmed to be a part of the unnamed 25th James Bond movie, the other two being the ever-favourite DB5 and the recently unveiled Valhalla Hypercar. Fans first saw the Aston Martin V8 Vantage in the 1987 movie The Living Daylights, in which 007's part was played by actor Timothy Dalton.

Essentially a more performance-oriented version of the Aston Martin V8, the Series II V8 Vantage was first launched in 1977 and was initially powered by a 5.3-litre V8 engine, tuned to churn out 390 bhp. About 9 years later, in 1986, Aston Martin introduced an option pack that bumped the peak power to 402 bhp.
The upcoming 25th James Bond movie is Slated to be released on April 8, 2020, and by then we'll certainly know about any other cars that might make an appearance in the new film. As for the human cast, Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek is said to be a part of the movie, possibly playing the role of James Bond's new nemesis.
