Jaguar has unveiled the XFR-S SportBrake ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show which kicks-off next week. The wagon is the third member of Jaguar's performance-focused R-S family.
The XFR-S SportBrake gains aerodynamic updates similar to the ones found on its four-door sibling like a deeper front bumper, over-sized air-intakes, side skirts, rear air diffuser made of carbon fiber and a roof-mounted spoiler. Then there are the 20-inch alloys which are wrapped around by Pirellis.
Power for the XFR-S SportBrake comes from a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that sends 542bhp and 680Nm of torques. All this power is transferred to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Jaguar says that the XFR-S Sportbrake reaches the 100km/h mark in 4.6 seconds and gets an electronically limited top-speed of 300km/h.
Jaguar has not let in yet as to how the interiors look but we think it won't be different from its sibling. The wagon offers 59.1 cubic feet of trunk space with the second row of seats folded flat, so there is a lot of space on offer.
More details will surface as the date to the launch comes closer. We'll keep you updated on the latest from this front.
