Honda Opens 200th Dealership In India

With Honda already on the assault for the past two years with new products for the Indian market, the company needs to spread its wings so that their cars are made available to the consumers. In a bid to expand their dealership network, Honda has inaugurated its 200th dealership in Secunderabad.

This new dealership, Metro Honda, was inaugurated by Hironori Kanayama, President and CEO, Honda Cars India. Located at Bowenpally, RR District, Secunderabad, this new dealership is spread across 58,000 sq ft. This outlet provides a comprehensive 3-S range of company's services to its customers - sales, service and spare parts. The dealership also offers facilities such as Auto Terrace - Honda's one-stop facility for Exchange and Pre-Owned Car Purchase and Honda Assure for all motor insurance requirements.

Speaking on the inauguration, Kanayama, said, "We are delighted to reach the milestone of 200 dealers in India. Network expansion is a critical part of our larger business goal of achieving sales of 3,00,000 units per annum by March 2017. As we expand our business in the Indian market, we have to move closer to our customers to be able to provide them with best customer services at nationwide level."

With 200 dearlerships in 130 cities in India, Honda doesn't want to stop there and is looking to add 30 more dealerships by the end of this financial year.
