Hyundai Venue N Line India Launch On September 6, 2022

- Venue N Line expected to get minor tweaks to the suspension and steering
- Expected to only be offered with the turbo-petrol engine option
- Engine output likely to be unchanged from the standard Venue
Hyundai will launch the new Venue N Line in India on September 6, 2022. The Venue will be Hyundai’s second N Line model following the launch of the i20 N Line in September last year. Hyundai says that it will be launching the new Venue N Line virtually in the Metaverse.
Commenting on the announcement, Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing and Service), Hyundai Motor India, said, "As we move closer towards the introduction of our next blockbuster product offering – Hyundai Venue N Line, we are pleased to announce this one-of-a-kind experience made available on Roblox to introduce this futuristic product through an immersive and unique car launch experience on the Metaverse. We are confident that this integration of virtual and physical universe will establish strong and long-lasting relationship with today's tech-empowered generation. We are very excited for the adventurous events that will unfold during our Metaverse launch of Hyundai Venue N Line."
Teaser video suggests Venue N Line will get an all-black cabin with red accents and a different steering in-line with the i20 N Line
Coming to the subcompact SUV, expect Hyundai to give it changes similar to what we saw on the i20 N Line. Cosmetically, expect the Venue N Line to get a sportier body kit along with its more performance-focused image. A teaser video released by Hyundai revealed a revised parametric jewel grille with lesser use of chrome and a mesh-like patterning. Also confirmed in the teaser are new design alloy wheels set to be unique to the N Line while at the rear the N Line also gets a new dual-tip exhaust.
Coming to the cabin, the teaser suggests that the Venue N Line will get an all-black cabin to the standard subcompact SUV's dual-tone finish. The cabin will also feature the use of red highlights to give it a sportier appeal while the steering wheel appears to be the same 3-spoke unit as in the i20 N Line.
Revised grille with N Line badging, new alloy wheels and a dual-tip exhaust will be part of the package
Coming to the engine, the Venue N Line is expected to carry over the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit from the regular Venue with no tweaks to the power output. The turbo-petrol develops 118 bhp and 172 Nm in the standard Venue. The unit is expected to be paired with either a 6-speed iMT or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Expect Hyundai to also tweak the steering and suspension set-up from the standard Venue to offer a more involving drive. The brakes too are expected to be upgraded to discs at all four corners compared to the standard Venue front discs and rear drums.
Expect prices for the Venue N Line to top out over the price range of the standard Venue – the i20 N Line N8 DCT is priced roughly Rs 50,000 more than the standard turbo-petrol i20 Asta(O) DCT.
