Land Rover Freelander Metropolis Edition's debut at Royal Windsor Horse Show

At the Royal Windsor Horse Show commenced on May 15th, 2014, Land Rover will showcase the new Freelander Metropolis edition. The Royal Windsor Horse Show will wrap up on May 17th. Land Rover will position new Freelander Metropolis edition at the top of the 2015 Freelander range that is likely to go on sale in the beginning of June. The vehicle will be offered in four trims including two manual and two automatic variants. The SE TD4 trim is packed with a 2.2 litre, four cylinder, turbodiesel engine that belts out a maximum power output of 187 Hp along with a peak torque of 420 Nm. The engine is synchronized to a six-speed automatic transmission. TD4 model on the other hand is housed with a 2.2 litre, four cylinder, diesel powertrain that pumps out a pinnacle power of 148 Hp and a top torque of 420 Nm, the diesel motor is paired to a six-speed manual tranny.
The Metropolis edition will underpin current Freelander HSE model, an eight way electrically adjustable driver seat and a six way electrically adjustable front passenger seat will up the comfort quotient for the occupants seated in the front. Premium Windsor leather upholstery will match well with the gloss black interiors, other significant features expected to be offered on the vehicle include a satellite navigation system controlled by the touchscreen, 825 Meridian surround sound system and a panoramic sunroof. New carpet mats, heated steering and reversing camera are some of the other features that could be seen in the vehicle.
On the outside, 19-inch diamond-turned alloy wheels will enhance the outer appearance. In the front,a set of Xenon head lights with daytime running lights will be equipped; Land Rover will spin off the vehicle in additional metallic paint colour options.
