LEGO & Mercedes F1 Collaborate For A 564 Piece Set

- The $30.00 box set will be available in March just before the F1 season
- It features the 2021 Mercedes driver line-up of Hamilton and Bottas
- There is also the AMG Project One hypercar in the package
LEGO has a storied history of collaborating with automotive brands and its latest collaboration is with the most successful F1 team in recent memory - the 8-time constructor's champions, Mercedes. The $29.99 set will have 564 pieces which will be based on the world championship-winning W12 that is 4cm high, 19cm long, and 7cm wide.
Notably, the W12 is also the only Mercedes from the turbo-hybrid era of F1 to not win a driver's world championship. It also retains the black livery which is interesting as there is chatter that the new car could revert back to the iconic silver livery of the team that gives it its "silver arrows" nickname.

You can choose between Bottas and Hamilton
The LEGO set will be offered on March 1st in the UK which is also the home of the Mercedes F1 team and its two drivers. The car will be offered with Pirelli's wet tyres, interchangeable driver numbers - 44 for Lewis Hamilton and 77 for Valtteri Bottas who joins Alfa Romeo this year, and black and yellow cameras. There will also be a mechanic and driver figure in the LEGO pack.
Mercedes is also collaborating for the AMG-Project One hypercar that has been under development and will go into production. Lewis Hamilton has helped with the development of the vehicle and has one on preorder as well.

The AMG-Project One is also featured here
Mercedes will attempt to defend its constructor's crown with the launch of the W13 which will happen on February 18 and it will also feature George Russell instead of Valtteri Bottas.
There is a lot of noise around the return of Lewis Hamilton who while having a contract has been disillusioned from the sport because of the strange and dramatic circumstances in which he lost the 2021 championship to Max Verstappen. There are however increasing signs that the 37-year-old 7-time world champion will return to F1 and be the lead driver for the W13.
