Mercedes GLA-Class SUV Launching in India on September 30, 2014

Mercedes-Benz's next product for India will be the much-anticipated GLA-Class crossover, which will take on the likes of Audi Q3 and BMW X1. The mini-crossover will be launched on September 30,2014, though the pre-bookings have already begun.
While the booking amount for the GLA-Class is around Rs 2 lakh, the car will be priced slightly above Rs 30 lakh. The GLA will be the third product, after the A- and the B-Class, in India to be based on the MFA (Modular/Mercedes Front Architecture) platform.

Whereas, the diesel model might house a 2.2-litre powertrain that is good for 135bhp and 300Nm. Both the motors will be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch.
