Nissan Releases Video Explaining the Design of the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo

Remember the crazy looking and yet futuristic GT-R that Nissan revealed a week ago? Better known as the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo, the car looks brilliant but details of the car were a little scarce till Nissan decided to release a video that highlights the concept's development.
Created by a team of young designers at Nissan Design Europe, the car has been built from scratch and employs latest digital design tools. The idea was to design a car that looks fast and interesting and makes sweeps onlookers off their feet. The creators were clearly successful.
Normally, a clay model is created after the initial drawings phase. However, Nissan decided to skip through that stage and went on to create a digital representation of the concept instead. This helped them focus on the aerodynamics of the car, the effect of which will be seen in the way it drives. Takashi Kamiyama, aerodynamics engineer, explains, "In this case we've allowed air to pass through, between the tyres and the cabin so as to cut through as little air as possible, thus reducing drag."
The following video below explains the concept in detail.
