Renault Duster 85PS Adventure Edition Launched; 4x4 Coming Too

Renault India that rolled out the 110PS (108bhp) Duster Adventure Edition at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, has now launched this edition with the 85PS (84bhp) diesel version of the compact SUV. While the more powerful 110PS diesel engine powered version comes at Rs 11.79 lakh, the lower spec 85PS Adventure Edition is priced at Rs 9.16 lakh (prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).

Except for the change in engine, both the 110PS and 85PS versions of Duster Adventure look similar. The Adventure Edition comes equipped with smoked headlamps, 'armouring' on headlights, door side sill, moulding on the sides, cladding on wheel arches, 'Adventure' inscribed tailgate D-pillar and new alloy-wheels give it a different look than the regular model.

Inside the cabin, the steering wheel and centre console get piano black finish, while the grab handles get silver finishing. The seat upholstery and fabric panels too see an update; they are in lime green shade now.

The company will soon launch the Duster limited edition at Rs 9.9 lakh in order to celebrate the crossing of one lakh milestone of the mini SUV in India. There will also be a four-wheel drive version of the model later this year, which will become the new top-end variant of the series.
