Renault that had unveiled the Lodgy at the Star Guild Awards in January 2015, will launch the vehicle on April 9, 2015 in India. Just so you know, the Lodgy is sold under Renault-owned Dacia brand globally, but in India it will be re-badged as the Renault Lodgy.

The Indian version of the MPV is expected to receive some significant changes, which will help Renault price it competitively. The Lodgy MPV will share its underpinning with other Renault products that are on sale in India. The vehicle will use the same 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine that also powers the Renault Duster. And just like the Duster, the engine will be offered in two states of tunes - 84bhp and 108bhp.
