The new motorcycle, internally codenamed J1C1, will be launched in the first week of August, and will likely be Royal Enfield's most accessible model, carandbike has learnt. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350, as it will be called commercially, will be based on the J-platform, which also underpins the Meteor 350 and the new Classic 350. The Hunter 350 will still have a reto-styled modern classic design theme, but will wear a slightly more stripped-down look, with a sporty stance, with a more contemporary roadster silhouette than the '60s inspired design of the Classic 350. But there still will be neo-retro elements like a circular headlamp, round turn indicators, rearview mirrors and a small round taillight. The Hunter 350 is also expected to get a round single-pod instrument console to go with the rounded elements and components, but Bluetooth connectivity and the Tripper navigation pod may not be offered as standard.
