This BMW-Powered Flying Car Has Received A Formal Certification To Fly.

All of our fantasies of revving the engine and soaring into the sky are about to come true! After 70 hours of "rigorous flight testing" and more than 200 take-offs and landings, a flying automobile just acquired the official Certificate of Airworthiness from the Slovak Transport Authority. The Aircar (V5), developed by the Slovakian company Klein Vision, converts from a car to a tiny plane in two minutes and 15 seconds.

Operational History
An aircar, according to the creators of this futuristic vehicle, can convert from a four-wheeled automobile to a plane in three minutes. According to Sky News, the vehicle took its first flight in 2020 and completed its first inter-city trip in June 2021. According to the business, the 35-kilometer trip from Slovakia's Nitra city to Bratislava is a critical development. Furthermore, the corporation stated in their statement that the take-off and landing procedures were completed without the pilot's assistance during the flight. According to Sky News, project co-founder Anton Zajac said, "The car was the symbol of freedom fifty years ago. Aircar pushes those boundaries even farther by transporting us to the next dimension, where the road meets the sky.

Performance and Specification
A 160bhp 1.6-liter BMW engine powers the two-seat Aircar. It can fly up to 8,200 feet and cruise at a rate of 118 miles per hour in the air. A new version with a more powerful engine is also in the works. This should allow for 186 mph cruising and will be verified in a year. For road travel, the wings and tail fold away automatically.

Before building the prototype, an eight-person team of experts worked for over a million hours to develop mathematical models from design concepts. In June 2021, it completed a 35-minute flight between Nitra and Bratislava airports in Slovakia. The door to mass production has now been opened with the formal certification. "It is official and the final confirmation of our ability to change mid-distance travel forever," says Professor Stefan Klein, Founder, Klein Vision.
According to a BBC report, the company plans to travel to London from Paris next.
