Tips To Improve Bike's Visibility

These mistakes are particularly common at night when sight is decreased by the darkness and the blinding lights of approaching cars. As a consequence, we've compiled a list of a few suggestions you can try to improve your bike's roadway visibility, particularly at night.
Avoid driving into blind spots.
If you're not aware, vehicles have blind spots in their rear-view mirrors that entirely hide the cars or motorcycles approaching from behind. It's also preferable to ride closer to the centre of the road rather than on the side of the road. You'll be more visible right away, and another driver will be less likely to try to overtake you at close range. When they cross the street, this occurrence causes numerous accidents. Therefore, you must avoid driving in the blind areas of vehicles ahead of you at all costs. It's difficult to pinpoint the precise blind spot, but if you're trying to overtake a car, make sure you're in their interior rear-view mirror's line of sight, especially at night when your headlights may alert them of your presence. You might wind up in their blind areas if you ride beside them and expect you'll be visible in their side mirrors.

Use your vehicle's horns
Your motorcycle's horn has a purpose. It's foolish to not use it. It's especially important at night when vision is poor. A loud horn will notify the automobiles surrounding you, preventing them from making any abrupt lane changes that might cut your path short.
Reflective tape
Reflective tape may be used to brighten up your gear or helmet if it isn't already bright enough. Stick these to your bike jacket and/or helmet, and the folks behind you will see you right away. Tiny pieces may also be used to offer extra light to your tail light, rear fender, fairings, and saddlebags. Reflective tape, which comes in a range of colours, is not only functional but also fashionable. You may also put reflective tape on your helmet and clothes if you don't have any reflective or brightly coloured gear.

An eye-catching helmet
Helmets are worn for protection. A black helmet may entice you because it appears to be sleek and fashionable, but don't hesitate to use bright colours for the helmet because it's a great way to create a fashion statement. A bright red, yellow, or green helmet will instantly set you apart from the crowd, whether it's day or night.
Choose bright clothing
Even if you don't like bright colours, choose fluorescent-coloured riding jackets over basic black ones. This also applies to other equipment. The bright colours make you more visible to approaching vehicles and drivers behind you. If you choose to wear one of these over your gear, you'll be more visible to other road users. This piece of equipment should be a must-have for each rider because it is lightweight, affordable, and simple to carry and store. It works for approximately a kilometre on the road.
