Volkswagen Polo Pace And Vento Sport Trim Launched In India

- New Sport and Pace trim launched for Vento and Polo respectively
- Vento Sport trim available on petrol and diesel Highline models
- Polo Pace trim only available on the new 1-litre Comfortline petrol model
Volkswagen has launched new trims to their Vento and Polo range to freshen up the lineup. The Vento Sport and the Polo Pace will be addon trims available on a select range of variants as an addition to what the two popular Volkswagen vehicles already offer. On the Vento line up, the Sport trim is available on the Highline and Highline+ models only on the 1.2-litre TSI petrol and the 1.5-litre TDI diesel (automatic and manual) option. On the Polo, the sport trim is available only on the new 1-litre petrol engine powered Comfortline variant. The Vento Sport and the Polo Pace trims will be available at no extra cost and will be available across all Volkswagen dealers in the country.
While the list of additional extras that you get on the Polo Pace is restricted only to the diamond cut 15-inch alloy wheels, the list of extras you get on the Vento Sport is a little more extensive. The Vento Sport for example features a set of 16-inch wheels, 'sport' badging and black outside rear view mirrors. The black theme continues with a black roof, black side decals across the front and rear doors and a black lip boot spoiler.

Speaking on the launch of the new trims for the Volkswagen Polo and Vento, Steffen Knapp, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, "At Volkswagen, we constantly enhance our product offerings to keep up with the fast changing trends and consumer aspirations. The Polo and Vento have been amongst our best-selling carlines since its inception in the Indian market. Through continuous value additions in our product portfolio, we aim to give our customers the power of choice."
The Volkswagen Polo range is available with two petrol and one diesel engine. The petrol engines include a 1-litre naturally aspirated or a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine while the diesel engine is a 1.5-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder motor that is available in two states of tune. The same 1.5-litre diesel engine is also available on the Vento (in the higher state of tune) while the petrol engines include the 1.2-litre TSI motor or the naturally aspirated 1.6-litre petrol engine.
