2020 Kawasaki Z900RS & Z900RS Cafe Unveiled

- The 2020 Z900RS & the Z900RS Cafe do not get styling changes
- The Kawasaki Z900RS is sold in India at a price of Rs. 15.70 lakh
- The 2020 Kawasaki Z900RS is likely to come to India
The Kawasaki Z900RS is the manufacturer's impressive attempt at packaging modern mechanicals in a retro design language and the modern-classic has just received an update for the 2020 model year. The 2020 Kawasaki Z900RS and the Z900RS Cafe have been revealed for Japan and the bikes sport new colour options. There's a new candy green paint scheme on the 2020 Z900RS with yellow stripes running on the fuel tank, while an all-black colour option is also now available complemented by chrome finished components on the motorcycle.

Meanwhile, the 2020 Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe, which essentially is the cafe racer version of the motorcycle, gets a lime green paint scheme on the semi-fairing with a white stripe that extends up to the tail section. There's an all-new dull blue paint option on offer as well with a single white stripe that looks different in a positive way. Apart from the paint options, the 2020 Kawasaki Z900RS and the Z900RS Cafe do not get any mechanical changes. The bikes draw power from the same 948 cc in-line four-cylinder engine that has been tuned to develop 108 bhp. This is the same motor that powers the Z900 street-fighter as well but is slightly de-tuned for easy ride-ability.

The 2020 Kawasaki Z900RS is likely to make its India debut by the end of this year or by early next
It is likely that the manufacturer will get the new colour options to India towards the end of this year or by early 2020. The Z900RS is sold in the country at quite a premium asking price of Rs. 15.70 lakh (ex-showroom), when compared to its rivals including the Triumph Bonneville T120, BMW R nine T, Indian Scout and the Ducati Scrambler 1100. The 2020 Z900RS is priced from 1,328,400 Yen (around Rs. 8.46 lakh) in Japan.

The 2020 Kawasaki Vulcan S gets new colour schemes too that are likely to be introduced in India
Apart from the 2020 Z900RS, Kawasaki has also introduced the 2020 Vulcan S and the Z400 in Europe. The 2020 Kawasaki Vulcan S gets three new colours - metallic flat spark black, metallic flat spark black with gold accents, and metallic flat spark black with green accents. The 2020 Z400 gets the new metallic matte graphite grey/metallic spark black with a green frame. The new colours options are expected to arrive in India towards the end of this year on the Vulcan, while the Z400 could be introduced in the country this year as a 2020 model.
