Maruti Suzuki India will launch the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza in India tomorrow, in a bid to heat up the subcompact SUV segment. The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza comes days after the launch of the 2022 Hyundai Venue, and would also take on the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite in India. Pre-bookings for the refreshed Maruti Suzuki Brezza commenced at an initial token amount of Rs. 11,000. However, even before the launch, the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza has created enough buzz with the new additions that would be introduced, and so, we list out the top 7 features that we know so far about the subcompact SUV.

- With the 2022 update, Maruti Suzuki would introduce the next-gen Smart Hybrid K-Series engine, which could possibly be the 1.5-litre, dual jet, dual VVT petrol engine sourced from the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6. This unit is expected to produce 102 bhp and 135 Nm of peak torque, coupled with Maruti's mild-hybrid system.

- This motor would be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, as well as a new 6-speed torque converter with paddle shifters.
- Design changes on the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza include a heavily updated fascia featuring a sleeker grille with chrome inserts, flanked by a set of sharper-looking headlamps and new dual LED daytime running lights. The bumper receives heavy cladding, a silver faux skid plate, and new foglamps.
- From the side, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza gets cladding along with a new set of alloy wheels, and roof rails.
New Brezza (top) gets a new layered dashboard design compared to the staid upright unit in the current model.
- The rear section of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza looks quite quirky with new LED taillights and bumper, with Brezza lettering at the centre.
- The interior of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza would be refreshed with a sharper-looking theme, but the biggest addition is an electric sunroof, a first for Maruti.
- As far as tech upgrades go, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza would receive a 5.5-inch head-up display (HUD), a 360-degree view camera system, and a new 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system.
