2023 Yamaha R1 GYTR Offers Race-Derived Model For Track Use

- The Yamaha R1 GYTR is a track-exclusive superbike
- Made with Genuine Yamaha Technologies Racing (GYTR) components
- The R1 GYTR aims to offer a genuine racing experience
Yamaha Motor Europe has introduced a race-prepped version of its R1 superbike, a track-only superbike, calling it the Yamaha R1 GYTR. The bike looks similar in silhouette to the stock R1, but the R1 GYTR is based on the World Superbike Championship and British Superbike winning YZF-R1 and gets some Genuine Yamaha Technologies Racing (GYTR) components for the brand’s flagship sports bike. GYTR parts use state-of-the-art materials like carbon fibre and aircraft-grade aluminium, and have been used in race bikes from Yamaha for years.

The Yamaha R1 GYTR also includes a GYTR Pro package which makes the track-exclusive machine almost as close to the Yamaha WorldSBK machine.
