Auto Expo 2018: Honda To Showcase 11 New Models

- Honda will launch a brand new motorcycle at the Auto Expo 2018
- Honda PCX electric scooter concept will make its India debut
- Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports to be showcased at the event
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) will debut its product line-up for 2018 at the 14th Auto Expo 2018, showcasing 11 new models. Of these, one is a brand new motorcycle, expected to be a premium commuter motorcycle, and the 10 others are upgraded products for 2018. Among the upgraded products will be six two-wheelers which are manufactured in India, including possibly, updated scooters, and four international big bikes, including the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports among the updated big bikes.
The all-new motorcycle is expected to be a premium commuter motorcycle in the 125 - 150 cc segment, which HMSI will be hoping will replicate some of the success of the bestselling Honda CB Shine.

So far, HMSI has not released details on which upgraded models will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2018, but additionally Honda will also have a special display of all generations of the bestselling scooter Honda Activa over the last 17 years. Honda will also debut its electrical vehicle concept in India, the Honda PCX electric scooter concept. Also on display will be Honda's 2017 MotoGP winning bike, the RC 213 V ridden by World Champion Marc Marquez as well as Honda's domestic one make race machine CBR 250 R.
Additionally, Honda will also have a dedicated safe riding zone in the outdoor activity area where the company will educate people of all age groups the importance of road safety. The Honda pavilion will also have on display the national winner of the Honda NAVI customania, as well as the 24 best customised NAVIs from across India.
