Mahindra TUV Stinger convertible SUV concept has finally made its public debut at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018. Based on the principle of the Mahindra TUV300 sub-4 metre SUV, the new TUV Stinger previews a rugged, yet stylish SUV concept, which according to Mahindra represents its "Live Young Live Free" motto. The Mahindra TUV Stinger has been designed keeping in mind the young buyers who live an active lifestyle. While the carmaker hasn't revealed any production plans, seeing that increasing number of quirky and modern utility vehicle like the Honda WR-V, Renault Captur and even the new Ford Freestyle, enter the market, we cannot ignore the possibility of the TUV Stinger eventually find its way too.

Mahindra TUV Stinger concept is designed for young buyers with active lifestyle
Visually, the new Mahindra TUV Stinger convertible SUV concept comes with an urbane and rugged appearance. In fact, Mahindra also promises of superior safety and reliability. Up front, the SUV comes with a large chrome grille with a big logo applique that Mahindra says is inspired by a bird in flight, to symbolise the spirit of freedom. At the same time, the SUV also comes with beefy and muscular wheel arches with robust body cladding for that macho appeal. The SUV also get stylish LED headlamps and nice contemporary LED taillamps.

The cabin comes with nice premium interior with plush seats, smart design and a high seating position. There's also abundant leg room and unlimited headroom on offer. There is also a well-equipped dashboard with a smart infotainment system equipped with Mahindra connectivity tech. Under the hood, this new Mahindra SUV concept gets the carmaker's tried and tested 2.2-litre mHawk engine, which delivers 140 bhp and develops 320 Nm of peak torque.
