Maruti Suzuki had shut down its manufacturing plant for seven days in June 2019.The Indian car market has been under pressure since the beginning of the current financial year with several headwinds coming in the way. Customer sentiments have been negative since the start due to increased prices and low credit availability. Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) had also expected sales to remain muted in June due to Lok Sabha elections.
