Honda Amaze Gets CNG Variant

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) today launched the CNG variant of the Honda Amaze. The new variant - 1.2 S MT Plus (i-VTEC) - is a modified petrol Honda Amaze compatible with CNG. Tuned for CNG compatibility via optimised suspension, application of CNG specific engine components & specially-prepared wiring harnesses, the Honda-approved CNG kit will be fitted on the new variant at Honda dealerships located in cities across the country. Also, the new variant is being offered with a 2-year warranty as standard.
Commenting on the introduction of the new variant, Mr Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India said, "At HCIL, we constantly work towards enhancing customer experience through our products and services. We are extremely happy to bring the Amaze with a CNG option for our customers, which will not only be cheaper to run and maintain but also eco-friendly."
With the introduction of the new variant, Honda hopes to meet the needs of people looking for an alternate fuel vehicle with high performance and low running cost.
