Honda Civic Hatchback Clear Pictures Leaked Ahead of Geneva Debut

The new Civic hatchback is based on the latest generation of Honda Civic sedan and carries the same aggressive characteristics of the latter. While it is claimed that the prototype seen in the images is just the concept version of the car, but one cannot help but notice that it looks more like a production version with a sporty body kit. The new 5-door hatch displays the same character lines of the Civic sedan along with a well sculpted bonnets, sleek LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights and the sharp metal finish of the grille.

Honda Civic Hatchback Side Profile
At the front the concept version gets a massive sporty bumper with large air intakes and lime green accents. The flared wheel arches hang low over the new stylish alloy wheels and are complimented by sharp ORVMs and side skirts. The rear section on the other hand looks very busy and quite aggressive. The car gets two spoilers - a roof mounted and a tailgate mounted, along with a well-sculpted hatch and C-shaped LED tail lamps. Although it all looks futuristic, designers at Honda seems to have gone a little overboard with the aggressive quotient, especially with the rear bumper that comes with large air intake-like elements and dual nozzle exhaust system.

Honda Civic Hatchback Rear Profile
While more details about the car will be disclosed at the Geneva Motor Show, as of now we can tell you that the new Honda Civic hatchback will come with a number of different engines options. One of them will be a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder motor that develops approximately 127bhp and over 200 Nm of peak torque.
