Honda Grazia 125: Top 4 Rivals

- The Honda Grazia 125 competes against a handful of scooter rivals
- The Grazia is decently equipped on features & gets a competitive price
- The TVS NTorq and Aprilia SR 125 offer strong sporty performance
The Honda Grazia 125 received an overhaul in 2020 with the BS6 update, making it a distinctively sportier alternative to the Activa 125 on sale in Honda 2Wheeler India's stable. The updated Honda Grazia gets several new features including a fuel-injected engine with a silent-start motor, and updates to the engine's internal components. It's also available with new colours, a digital readout, and improved ground clearance. It's priced competitively too from Rs. 76,823 - Rs. 84,148 (ex-showroom, Delhi). But this segment is a hotly contested space and that won't make things easy for the Grazia. Here's a look at Honda Grazia 125's top five rivals in the segment.

1. TVS NTorq 125
The TVS NTorq 125 remains one of the most preferred choices in the sporty end of the 125 cc segment. The model is not only great on handling and performance but is also loaded on features thanks to TVS' SmartXonnect system. The NTorq 125 looks great, rides well, and the latest update also brings features like riding modes, a first for a scooter in this class. The TVS NTorq 125 range starts from Rs. 85,794 (ex-showroom).
The new Hero Maestro Edge 125 has seen a substantial upgrade on the feature front
2. Hero Maestro Edge 125
More affordable than the Honda Grazia 125, the Hero Maestro Edge takes the sporty styling route coupled with a practical 125 cc engine. The scooter recently received a major update bringing an LED projector headlamp, new colour options, digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and more, further adding to its appeal. It's competitively priced as well, starting from Rs. 72,250 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

3. Aprilia SR 125
The Aprilia SR 125 is quick, fast and fun. It's also a proper sports scooter and does not try to be something else. So, while it may not get the most comfortable seat, it will surely give you the thrills with its 125 cc motor that develops 9.7 bhp and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. That said, it isn't as feature-loaded as its rivals. Prices start at Rs. 93,008 (ex-showroom).
The new Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid is the latest addition to this segment with prices starting at Rs. 70,000 (ex-showroom)
4. Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid
The newest offering in this space, the Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid was launched recently and adds a smart motor-generator (SMG) to the 125 cc offering. The scooter is playful with the 125 cc engine paired with a light chassis and body shell that make for a kerb weight of just under 100 kg. It also looks great with that retro styling while the 125 cc mill produces 8.2 bhp and 10.3 Nm of peak torque. The feature list includes an LED headlamp with DRL, side stand cut off switch, front disc brake, and also Bluetooth connectivity. Prices start at Rs. 70,000 (ex-showroom).
