- The prices for the Hyundai Venue start at Rs. 6.5 lakh (ex-Delhi)

The Hyundai Venue was launched exactly a month ago and since then, Hyundai has received a whopping 33,000 bookings for the Venue in India along with 2 lakh enquiries. The company delivered 1,000 units of the Venue today to customers across India. The Venue is Hyundai's first model in the subcompact SUV segment and the company is very clear! That it wants to establish its dominance in the subcompact SUV market, which is currently dominated by the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The Hyundai Venue comes with two petrol engines, and its more modern, turbocharged 1.0 GDI has the maximum demand. The only automatic in the mix is the new DCT or dual-clutch transmission, and it accounts for almost 35 per cent of all bookings. We have already driven the car and in fact, we also tested it against its rivals and you can read all about it here.

It gets a bundle of segment-first features like SOS alert, Indian-accented English voice assist system, remote engine-start and climate control operation among others. It also gets an in-built eSIM card, powered by Idea-Vodafone and Hyundai will provide free data to the owners up to the warranty period of the car after which the SIM can be recharged with regular data packs.
