The company delivered 1,000 units of the Venue today to customers across India. The Venue is Hyundai's first model in the subcompact SUV segment and the company is very clear! That it wants to establish its dominance in the subcompact SUV market, which is currently dominated by the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The Hyundai Venue comes with two petrol engines, and its more modern, turbocharged 1.0 GDI has the maximum demand. The only automatic in the mix is the new DCT or dual-clutch transmission, and it accounts for almost 35 per cent of all bookings. We have already driven the car and in fact, we also tested it against its rivals and you can read all about it here.
