Judwaa 2 Actor Taapsee Pannu Buys Mercedes-Benz GLE

Mercedes-Benz SUVs are the new favourites of the Indian film industry with models right from the GLC to the top-of-the-line GLS being adorned by many A-list stars. The latest to join the German auto giant's family is actor Taapsee Pannu, who has purchased an all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV. The Judwaa 2 actor took to social media platform Instagram to share pictures of her new and blue ride. The actor also shared the name of her new prized possession that goes by the name 'Margaret'. The GLE is a premium mid-size SUV from Mercedes-Benz and is priced from Rs. 64.06 lakh going up to Rs. 74.58 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

The Mercedes-Benz GLE is one of the more capable luxury SUVs out, and is in fact, the company's most selling SUV as well in the country. The GLE competes against the likes of the BMW X5, Audi Q5, Jaguar F-Pace and the likes in the segment. Power on the GLE comes from petrol and diesel engine options.
(Taapsee taking delivery of her new Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV)The base GLE 200d uses the 2.1-litre in-line four-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 201 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. The top-of-the-line 350d variant uses the 3-litre V6 oil burner that pushes 255 bhp and 620 Nm of peak torque. Mercedes-Benz India introduced the petrol version of the GLE last year that comes in only the top-end 400 guise and uses a 3-litre V6 motor that produces 245 bhp and peak torque of 480 Nm. All versions get the 9-speed automatic transmission as well as MATIC All-Wheel Drive system as standard.
The luxurious Mercedes-Benz GLE also packs in a host of bells and whistles including LED headlamps with Intelligent Light system, LED taillights, Artico leather upholstered seats, ambient lighting and much more. The SUV also packs in three-zone climate control, cruise control, multiple driving modes, adaptive damping system, AIRMATIC package for a smooth ride and much more.
The Mercedes-Benz GLE also comes with an 8-inch infotainment display that offers access to a host of functions including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
