Made In India Honda GB350 Japan Delivery Details Revealed

- The Honda H'Ness CB350 will be called the Honda GB350 in Japan
- The Honda CB350RS sold in India will be called the Honda GB350 S
- Both bikes are based on the air-cooled, long-stroke Honda engine
The Honda GB350, which is manufactured in India, will reach Honda showrooms in Japan by July 15, 2021, when deliveries will begin. The modern classic roadster from Honda will be offered in two variants, the standard Honda GB 350, as well as the Honda GB350 S. The S variant gets two new colour options not offered on the standard GB350 and will also get slightly sportier and premium details. The GB350 S is essentially the Honda CB350 RS in India, with slight changes in ergonomics and details.

The Honda GB350 and GB350 S are essentially the Japanese-spec models based on the Honda H'Ness CB350 and the Honda CB350RS
Both bikes will share the same engine, so it will be the same air-cooled, long stroke 349 cc, single-cylinder unit which makes 20.8 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 30 Nm at 3,000 rpm. Also on offer will be Honda Selectable Torque Control, which is traction-control system. The rear tyre on the GB350 S is fatter, with a 150 mm wide tyre, while the regular GB350 sports a 130 mm rear tyre. The riding position is slightly different with rear set footpegs on the S, as well as a slightly lower handlebar. The front and rear mudguards are shorter and plastic instead of metal on the regular GB350. The S also gets a different headlight bezel, and comes with full LED lighting, instead of the standard lighting on the standard GB350.

The Honda GB350 S will get unique colour options, and is essentially the Japanese-spec model of the Honda CB350RS offered on sale in India
Both the Honda GB350 and the Honda GB350S will be retailed through the Honda Dream Network in Japan, and considering it has been confirmed for the Japanese market, perhaps this made-in-India 350 cc Honda will be exported to other markets as well, including the rest of Asia-Pacific and even Europe. So far, there are no timelines available on when Honda will export the GB350 to other countries, but considering it's made in India, and Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has only recently resumed production, it will be sometime before production volumes are resumed for the bike to be exported to other markets, including Europe.
