In fact, the company sells an average of over 13,000 units of the Baleno every month, holding a 25 per cent market share in the premium hatchback space. In comparison, rivals Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz account for a monthly average of nearly 6,000 units and 5,000 units, respectively.
